Transfer & Non-Traditional Pre-Orientation Checklist
Complete the pre-orientation Canvas course before you attend Blazer Beginnings (available 3 weeks before your orientation date) – you won’t be able to register for classes unless you have completed all modules no later than noon CT the day before your orientation begins.
Did you choose a virtual session? Check your email 7 days before your orientation to find your schedule and Zoom links for live programming.
Take Course Placement Assessments. If you have not earned college-level math or English credit above the remedial level, you are required to take an assessment to determine course placement. The deadline to take your course placement assessments is two weeks prior to your Blazer Beginnings orientation session.
If you reserve your spot for Blazer Beginnings orientation less than two weeks before the orientation date you are attending, you should complete your required assessments as soon as possible.
Request a final transcript be sent from your last college institution attended as soon as your final grades have posted, if you haven't already done so.
