Describe something new you tried or did at UAB and how it made you feel.
Every Tuesdays and Thursdays, a couple of my friends and I would take yoga in one of the group classrooms in the Rec. It was especially calming during finals week, and helped me not only bond with my friends, but also meet new people and "find my zen". It was definitely a leap of faith trying yoga out, but after every class I felt more focused and relaxed.
