UAB is proud to provide an innovative pathway to graduate school for our high-achieving undergraduate students. The UAB Graduate School offers accomplished high school seniors an automatic acceptance into one of our participating Early Acceptance masters program at the same time they're admitted as an undergraduate student.
This doesn't mean you have to start planning your graduate studies, and the Early Acceptance offer is non-binding and doesn't commit you to attending graduate school at UAB. But if you think graduate school may be in your future, the Early Acceptance Program will help you make a seamless transition.
Students in the Early Acceptance Program are guaranteed admission into graduate school as long as they complete the pre-requisites for the program they wish to enroll and earn a 3.5 UAB GPA. Maintaining your eligibility also means that you can bypass entrance exams like the GRE, application fees, and other admissions requirements.

Be sure to accept your Early Acceptance offer, even if you're not sure of your plans after graduation. It's a great way to expand your options as you progress through your undergraduate degree.
