UAB has standardized copier procurement to the Canon Cost-Per-Click (CPC) program.

  2. Complete the steps on the Oracle Requisition Instructions.

To ensure that you/your Department is getting the correct size machine for your needs, contact Gregg for a consultation.

Copiers / Multi-Function Printers at UAB fall into 3 categories:

  • Category 1 - Leased machines whose lease has expired or has been extended pending this new program>
    • Departments with machines in this category need to contact Gregg Phelps ASAP to initiate process to order a replacement machine.
  • Category 2 - Leased machines whose lease has not reached expiration of the initial lease term
    • Until expiration of the initial lease term, Departments with machines in this category will do nothing at this time. Upon expiration of the initial lease, contact Gregg Phelps at Canon for a replacement machine.
  • Category 3 - UAB-owned machines
    • Departments with machines in this category do not have to do anything at this time. However, when the decision has been made to replace the owned machine, contact Gregg Phelps at Canon for a replacement machine.

Print Codes – does your Department use Print Codes?  If so, please contact Ron Collins ronc@uab.edu.

Fax Boards are an accessory. As such, they must be purchased separately ($324/ea).

Cost-Per-Click requisitions are 1-to-1 (one PO to one machine).
