Windows
Windows desktops are updated on a standard basis, with routine maintenance windows every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.
macOS
macOS operating system patching is conducted on an as-needed basis. These are downloaded to all systems and allow users at least one deferral. Notifications of reboots will occur once macOS updates are downloaded to clients. Overdue updates beyond 30 days may cause reboots without notice.
