Hallie Keel is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) and a Registered Play Therapist- Supervisor. She received a Masters of Art (MA) in Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is certified in TF-CBT and has received Level One Theraplay training. Hallie has completed training in Perinatal Mood Disorders to assist individuals with post partum issues. She is a member of the Association for Play Therapy (APT) and is a past -President of the Alabama Association for Play Therapy. Hallie works with individuals, families, and children/adolescents on a wide variety of topics, including depression, anxiety, burnout, stress management, job/school related concerns, parenting, grief/loss, and trauma.
Before joining the EACC, Hallie worked for almost 19 years as a Child and Family therapist with Glenwood’s intensive residential treatment program for children who had experienced trauma and disruptive home situations. Helping children and families is her passion and teaching others to express themselves in a safe way is her lifelong goal.
