The First Year Experience Student Council (FYESC) consists of current freshmen, sophomore, junior, and senior students who facilitate and host events geared toward igniting the Blazer Spirit within new UAB students. Joining the FYESC provides students with an opportunity for peer mentorship, event planning experience, and leadership development. The council collaborates with and is overseen by Jasmine Williams, Associate Director of the UAB First Year Experience Department.
