The holidays bring wishes of joy and peace on earth - but not necessarily from the reindeer that fly from rooftop to rooftop, lugging a big guy in a red suit trying to squeeze down chimneys. In a part stand-up, part improv show, Chicago City Limits celebrates the traditions and trials of the Christmas season with comedy sketches, song parodies and improvisations that engage the actor and audience in a spontaneous, interactive conspiracy.

Audience members can prepare themselves for the show during an improv workshop with a Chicago City Limits cast member at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 13 at the Alys Stephens Center. The fee for the 90-minute workshop is $10. Call 205-934-0862.
