The Heersink School of Medicine Office of Access & Engagement is dedicated to cultivating an environment where students experience a sense of belonging. We value all members of the Heersink community, and foster collaboration and innovation to drive greater success, while also providing resources and support tailored to address each student’s individual needs and potential barriers.
Our office works in concert with school leaders in medical education and the student affairs team for Heersink Access & Engagement, as well as the Assistant Dean for Student Experience. Together we strive to prepare the next generation of physicians in providing world-class care for all patients in Alabama and beyond.
