Visit us on Campus
- Attend a Blazers Abroad 101 session
- Meet with a Peer Advisor
Ready to Apply
- Start your Education Abroad application
- Meet with the Education Abroad Advisor
- Complete your UAB Education Abroad and Scholarship applications by deadline
- For affiliate provider programs, complete the appropriate affiliate provider application on their website
- Apply for your passport
- Begin course selection and approval process
After Acceptance
- Complete Host Institution requirements
- Attend Pre-Departure Orientation
- Complete Visa/Resident Permit Requirements
- Complete the Education Abroad application released after program acceptance
- Secure Housing
- Book Flight
While Abroad
- Attend Host Institution orientation
- Finalize Class Schedule
- Finalize your course articulation
