UAB will implement an online harassment-prevention education program that will establish a common definition of inappropriate behavior and identify available resources for support in October, and all UAB faculty and staff will be asked to complete an interactive, 45-minute module within 60 days.
Employees will receive a joint email from UAB Human Resources, UAB’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and the Division of Student Affairs that will provide more details and a summary of resources, including web links. The program, which will be implemented across the UA System campuses, will be administered annually in alignment with the reaffirmation of our commitment to equal opportunity and an environment free from discrimination and harassment.
