• Dinner to feature Asian cuisine

The Asian American Organization at UAB will present its annual "Taste of Asia" show and dinner in April. The show and dinner are free to the public. Donations are welcome.

The event will take place Saturday, April 18 at 7 p.m. at the Alys Stephens Center, Jemison Concert Hall, 1200 10th Ave. S. Dinner will be held after the show at the UAB Spencer Honors House, 1190 10th Ave. S.

The "Taste of Asia" show will feature performances by UAB students from India, China and other Asian countries as well as local artists. The performances will include traditional dances and music and much more. Afterwards, the audience can enjoy a dinner of authentic Asian cuisine served by several local Asian restaurants.

The Asian American Organization at UAB is a student organization that seeks to raise awareness of Asian culture and diversity on campus.
