The UAB Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine is committed to providing excellence in patient care, research, and training. The division supports the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Critical Care Transport Team, Pediatric Simon Sedation Service, and the Pediatric Simulation Center at Children’s of Alabama. Our physicians work collaboratively with physicians at Children’s of Alabama and across the region to provide a coordinated approach to care for our patients. The division is academically productive with its faculty presently including 3 professors, 4 associate professors, and 10 assistant professors. The division also has an active, accredited fellowship program with nine sub-specialty trainees.
