The UAB Adult Neurology Residency Program has continued its remarkable growth and success by expanding to 11 residents per year for the upcoming NRMP match cycle, reflecting the program's strong reputation, outstanding educational environment, and commitment to training the next generation of neurologists.

We welcome eleven adult neurology residents each year and prepare them for successful careers in competitive fellowship programs, academic and clinical research, and comprehensive neurological practice.
During their training at UAB, residents gain extensive exposure to the full spectrum of neurological disease and are mentored by more than 95 accomplished, knowledgeable, and approachable faculty neurologists. This broad clinical experience is complemented by a collaborative and supportive learning environment that fosters open dialogue, mutual respect, intellectual curiosity, and thoughtful clinical decision-making.
