As an official U.S. Department of State Passport Acceptance Facility, we are happy to help you apply for your passport or for your child's passport.
The UAB Passport Office is open to the public. You do not have to be a UAB student or employee to apply for a U.S. passport at our facility.

Limited passport appointments are available Monday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm, and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30am-6:00pm! By appointment only – WALK-INS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please follow us on social media or check back here for updates.

Passport Photos
To save you time during the application process, we can take your passport and visa photos in the UAB Passport Office for $12.99 per set (two printed 2x2 photos). The fee can be paid online or in the office during your appointment.
