The UAB School of Education and Human Sciences is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP). These accreditations cover initial teacher preparation programs, advanced educator preparation programs, and counseling programs.
