Stephanie Yates, PhD opens a new website Regions Bank Endowed Professor of Finance and chair of the Collat School of Business’s Accounting and Finance Department, has been appointed to serve on the inaugural advisory council of The PhD Project opens a new website, a nonprofit organization aimed at helping diversify corporate America by diversifying college business schools.
The PhD Project Advisory Council (PAC-15) is made up of 15 professors from 15 business schools nationwide. It serves as the voice of The PhD Project members, provides guidance as the organization considers new programs and partnerships, and is a sounding board for organizational strategy.
The PAC-15 includes three members from each of the five discipline associations (accounting, finance and economics, information systems, management, and marketing) and represents a wide range of The PhD Project’s membership by ethnicity, race, academic tenure, university tier and school status. Members serve a minimum of two years.
Founded in 1994, The PhD Project has assisted more than 1,400 business professionals, graduate, and undergraduate students receive doctoral degrees. The PhD Project also includes more than 230 students currently enrolled in business doctoral programs.
