    • Students who pursue Business upon admittance to UAB are admitted to the Collat School of Business in their declared major. An undeclared business major is available for students who know they want to study business, but not yet sure on specific area.
    • Incoming Collat students will be part of our unique Collat freshman success program. Our Freshman Leadership Team, staff and faculty will be with you every step of the way throughout your first year. Learn more about our Freshman Success Program.
  • Transfer

    • If you are a current student at a community college, checkout our Bridge to Business Transfer (B2B) Program that provides all the tools you need to help insure a successful transition from your associate degree to pursuing your bachelor's degree at UAB Collat School of Business.

  • Current UAB Students

    • The Collat School of Business welcomes any current UAB student who wishes to switch their major to business or declare a minor in business.
    • If you wish to switch your major to business or declare a minor in business, please contact the advisor for your intended major or minor and schedule an appointment.
    • The Collat Business Honors program has specific admissions requirements.
  • Accelerated Bachelor's/Master's Program

    • Our ABM business program provides three paths for high-ability learners to earn a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree faster and with lower costs compared to the independent completion of these two degrees.
    • Meet with your undergraduate advisor and the relevant graduate program director(s) to discuss program requirements.
    • Complete the ABM form opens a new website (including all approvals) and submit it to the UAB Graduate School.
    • Complete the graduate school application opens a new website (selecting desired graduate program with ABM concentration) including ABM form, application fee, and one recommendation. NOTE: the ABM application deadline is one month earlier than the regular graduate application deadline!
