The UAB National Alumni Society has awarded the 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award to Shannon Houser, PhD, MPH, RHIA, FAHIMA, FHIMSS, a graduate of the Department of Health Services Administration and a current faculty member.

Amy Landry, Ph.D., has been awarded the Myron D. Fottler Exceptional Service Award by the Health Care Management (HCM) Division of the Academy of Management (AOM).

Forrest A. Daniels DSc, FACHE (DSc, 2012), has served at food centers and homeless coalitions. He has served on emergency response teams and as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). And he firmly believes that you, too, can serve.
