After Work & Outdoors," presented by the Alys Stephens Center, will feature live music by the Jason Bailey Band, beer and wine tastings, prizes and more. The event is tonight, May 21 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Alys Stephens Center's Haskell Courtyard, 1200 10th Ave. South. Jones Valley Urban Farm will feature their pedal-powered bicycle blender, ready to ride, as a fun way to get people thinking about and discussing alternative energy sources. All After Work & Outdoors events are eco-friendly, and the series engages in sustainable practices, from the products used to the foods that are served. All party supplies will be recycled. The party will feature food for sale from local restaurants, including Salt: Fine Catering, Jim 'N Nicks Bar-B-Que and Whole Foods, beverages from Good People Brewing Company, Johnnygreenseeds Wines and Morgan Creek Winery, and ticket drawings for the Alys Stephens Center's upcoming new season. Junior Patron members can enjoy the VIP lounge complete with complimentary beer, wine and delicious food. The parties will be moved inside the Alys Stephens Center in the event of rain.
The Alys Stephens Center's Junior Patrons bring young professionals together to experience great live performances and social gatherings presented by the Alys Stephens Center.
