The UAB Trauma and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship will welcome four new fellows next year: Sabrina Goddard, M.D., Kavina Juneja, M.D., Patrick Liebel, M.D., and Robin Tillery, M.D. Goddard will join the program after completing her general surgery residency at UT San Antonio, and Juneja is currently at UAB finishing her general surgery residency.

Department of Surgery research resident Meixi Ma M.D., M.S., is an American College of Surgeons (ACS) Clinical Scholar-in-Residence and member of the ACS Board of Regents Anti-Racism Task Force. She will be reporting on the group’s discussions and progress as a panelist at the 2020 ACS Clinical Congress Conference.
