Salary:
Resident Funding and Resources:
• Discretionary fund - $5,500 is available for use at the resident’s discretion. This money can be used for books, tools, educational material, travel to meetings, AIRP travel expenses, and licensing and testing fees.
• AIRP tuition - The cost of tuition for AIRP will be covered directly by the department for residents that attend the program.
• Meeting participant funds - additional funds of up to $1,500 will be available to residents, to reimburse expenses related to meetings, travel, lodging, etc. where the requesting resident is an oral scientific presenter or speaker at a qualifying meeting or conference.
• We allow internal and external moonlighting as outlined in our policy because of the tremendous financial burden facing today's resident but emphasize the need for our residents to have ample time for reading, other Radiology activities, and work-life balance.
• MRI Online, RADPrimer, and StatDx are provided to residents.
• Access to e-Anatomy and most medical journals from off campus through Lister Hill library

Radiology Education & Knowledge Space (REKS):
Considered home base for our residents, the REKS is a private space to relax but can also be a great location to study or work on research. Drinks and snacks are available to the residents and lunch is typically provided in here weekly. Some of the available resources include several computers, a projector, a TV, microwaves, coffee makers, and a refrigerator.
