Explore UAB

At the UAB Gregory Fleming James Cystic Fibrosis Research Center, our clinical research is bringing scientific discovery to the CF community.

We are studying how CF affects the body, evaluating new treatments, and developing improved measures for successful treatments. Since CF is a multisystem disease, our clinical research investigates areas such as gastrointestinal health, endocrine and metabolic function, nutrition, bone health, and other manifestations of CF. Our investigators conduct clinical studies that evaluate emerging treatments and approaches to CFTR correction and other aspects of CF disease with one goal - to improve health and quality of life in persons living with CF.
