One of the core missions of the center is educating clinicians, the next generation of researchers, students at various levels, and the public about Alzheimer's disease.
This mission includes several training programs spanning levels from undergraduates to postdoctoral students and physicians, courses designed primarily for graduate and undergraduate students, and well as a series of conferences, seminars, and symposia that are open to the public and the UAB campus community.
