Cynthia holds a BS in Film, Television and Media Studies from the California State University of Los Angeles and joined UAB in 2023. She is originally from the Los Angeles area and came to Birmingham to grow her interest in the immigration system to aid international faculty at UAB. She brings a well-rounded skill set to the workplace and hopes to further her education. In her free time, she helps her younger sister practice softball for UAB and volunteers at a local Christian church.
