The Freshman Seminar is held during the Spring semester. In it you will meet some of the faculty members who will be teaching the basic science course pre-requisites for professional schools, including biology, chemistry, physics, and the social sciences. Faculty members will discuss:

• keys to success in these courses
• how the courses will help prepare you for the national examination you will take (MCAT, DAT, OAT, etc.) when applying to a professional school.

Student members of Alpha Epsilon Delta or other student groups will talk to you about the benefits of belonging to student organizations, and how it is important to get involved early.

There is no fee for this event. Freshmen are strongly encouraged to attend.
