Welcome to the University Writing Center!
The University Writing Center helps UAB students with all types of writing and at any stage of the process. Whether you need help brainstorming ideas for your history paper, revising your personal statement, or editing your lab report, we are here for you. Our services are free and available for all UAB students!
Tutoring Sessions
Students can:
- Meet with a tutor in person in Sterne Library.
- Meet with a tutor online through the UWC’s online scheduling and tutoring system.
- Upload work and get feedback via the online system.
In-person and online tutoring sessions are 25 or 50 minutes long. Students may have two total sessions per week, with possible limitations during busy times.
