    Explore Your Local Outdoor Activites - Be adventures on Campus! Informational clinic on local outdoor activities- this will be an educational presentation that we can bring to you that informs you on what where and how you can get involved in the outdoor in the Birmingham area. Topics covered can include anything from local hiking/walking trails to the best places to go mountain biking in the area.  The clinic lasts one hour. Can be adjusted to specific activity that your organization is interested in. 1 Hour | Max 30 participants $35 per group in meting room $50 per group in meeting room $70 per group in meeting room

    Challenge your group and host an event at the Climbing Wall Hosted events at the climbing wall.  We have the ability to host climbing events at our climbing wall.  We can have crate stacking, rope climbing or rock climbing competitions.  We will provide all equipment necessary for the event.  Events will last between 1 and 2 hours depending on how many contestants you have.  1 Hour | 2 Hours | Max 20 participants $100 |$180 $130 |$210 $160 |$240

    Introduction to mountain biking at Oak Mountain State Park We can provide you with a bikes and a guide for beginner to intermediate trails at Oak Mountain State Park.  Once we meet at the park this event will last 2 hours.  2 Hours | Max 7 participants $105 $130 $155
    Backpacking Cheaha Wilderness Area We will provide all backpacking gear that is needed as well as food for the trip.  This trip will have you hiking next to waterfalls and over some of the tallest mountains in Alabama.  3 days 2 nights | Max 10 participants $350 $400 $550

  • URec On the Go Reservations Policies

    Reservations

    • Reservationsmay be made up to 28 daysin advance by completing the URec On The GoRequest Form.
    • Payment must be made no later than 21 daysin advance of the event.
    • All forms and waivers must be completed and signed prior to taking equipment from the premises.
    • Equipment must be picked up a minimum of 30 minutes prior to closing or the reservation will be voided.

    Cancellation Policy

    • 75% of payment will be refunded 14 days or more prior to reservation date and time.
    • 50% of payment will be refunded 13-4 days prior toreservation date and time.
    • No refund less than 3 days (72 hours) prior to reservation date and time.

    Competitive Sports –Equipment Return Policy

    • Equipment and all accessories must be returned only during the Adventure Recreation Rental Centeroperating hours as a signature on the equipment agreement is required upon return. If the items are returned to a non-Adventure Recreationstaff member, the renter will be charged an administrative fee equal to the replacement value of the item.
    • Please allow 15-20 minutes for checking in equipment as each item will be examined for cleanliness and damages.
    • An additional fee will be charged for dirty or damaged equipment that requires cleaning, repairs, or replacement.
    • A late fee will be charged for each item checked out that is not returned to Adventure Recreation Rental Centerby the return date indicated.

    Competitive Sports –Equipment Length

    • Daily = 24-hour period
    • 3 Day = Returned before noon of the fourth day following checkout
