My general research interest is in how nutrition impacts autoimmune disorders, particularly those affecting joints, muscles, and nerves.

What made you decide to pursue a PhD?

I have chosen to pursue a PhD because my curiosity and list of unanswered questions about nutrition continues to grow. I want to be able to educate the community through research contributions, teaching, and counseling.

Any special interests, hobbies, or fun facts?

I enjoy hiking, cooking, gardening, and learning about other cultures.
