Research Interests

My research interests include maternal and child health, specifically: feeding behaviors, breastfeeding, obesity and gestational diabetes.

Why did I pursue my PhD?

After working in the nutrition field over the past ten years, I decided it was time for me to continue my education and to learn more about the world of research. I am excited to take my experience from the pediatric and adult populations and apply to future research studies.

Any special interests, hobbies, or fun facts?

My hobbies include reading and listening to books, doing anything dog-related and cooking/trying new restaurants. Fun fact about me is that I have backpacked through Europe.
