Research

David's research interests revolve around the effects on body composition as they relate to diet, timed feeding, resistance training, and training under hypoxic conditions.

Why did you choose UAB?

UAB has always been a home away from home for me, as my father taught in Respiratory Therapy here in the 1970s, and I have many fond memories of coming to the campus with him.

Any special interests, hobbies, or fun facts?

My hobbies include novel writing, producing short films, and hiking.
