UAB School of Health Professions Scholarship Application

The School of Health Professions (SHP) has two application cycles - one for fall and one for spring scholarships. Both applications are available via BSMART.

Important: The SHP scholarship application is separate from the University scholarship application in BSMART. You can choose to complete one or both. If you want to be considered for SHP scholarships, you must submit the SHP's application. If you want to be considered for University scholarships, you must submit the University-level application.

Fall Scholarship Application

Available April 10 - June 30, 2026

- Primary Care PT for Underserved Populations certificate program

Spring Scholarship Application

Available October 1 - October 23, 2026

- Biomedical Sciences program
- Low Vision Rehabilitation program
- Medical Laboratory Science program
- MS in Nutrition Sciences programs
- Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Sciences program
- Occupational Therapy Doctorate program
- Physician Associate Studies program
- Physical Therapy Doctorate program
