UAB School of Health Professions Scholarship Application

The School of Health Professions (SHP) has two application cycles - one for fall and one for spring scholarships. Both applications are available via BSMART.

Please note: SHP has a separate application from the University level scholarship application. You may submit both applications or only one.

Fall Scholarship Application

• Available April 10 - June 30, 2026
• A link to the application will be provided here once the application opens. 
• Scholarships available in the following areas:
  • DSc in Healthcare Leadership program
  • Health Care Management program
  • MS in Health Administration program
  • MS in Health Informatics program
  • PhD in Administration Health Services program
  • Primary Care PT for Underserved Populations certificate program

• Available October 1 - October 23, 2026

• Scholarships available in the following areas:
  • School-level
  • Biomedical Sciences program
  • Low Vision Rehabilitation program
  • Medical Laboratory Science program
  • MS in Nutrition Sciences programs
  • Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Sciences program
  • Occupational Therapy Doctorate program
  • Physician Associate Studies program
  • Physical Therapy Doctorate program
