What do you want to change today? What would you give to make a difference in the world? UAB students and faculty encourage viewers to transform their passion into action in this new video for the $1 billion Campaign for UAB. 
John F. Kearney, professor in the Department of Microbiology, earns the Academic Health Center's most prestigious faculty award. He will deliver a free public lecture on Nov. 13.


UAB kicked off the public phase of The Campaign for UAB: Give Something, Change Everything, the university's largest fundraising campaign to date, announcing an ambitious $1 billion goal Thursday night. 
Regular routes to and from UAB, Five Points South, Lakeview and downtown allow staff, students and community members to improve health while traveling to work, restaurants and entertainment venues.
An interdisciplinary team from genetics, internal medicine, and other specialties aims to help patients find answers to medical mysteries.
