Student Affairs VP candidate presentations to begin April 20
Candidates for the position of vice president of Student Affairs will make public presentations and answer questions April 20-22 in the School of Nursing Auditorium.
UAB-HudsonAlpha to conduct genomic medicine symposium

Arribas is new chair for Foreign Languages
Julian Arribas, Ph.D., comes to UAB from Creighton University. His international perspective and contacts are expected to advance the goals for globalization for the College of Arts and Sciences.
Evans is new chair of Music
Patrick Evans, D.M., comes to UAB from DePauw University, where he was director of admissions for its School of Music. Evans, a baritone who has performed nationwide and abroad, is a lecturer, practitioner and clinician in the fields of sacred music and congregational song.
Remember to file annual ethics report by April 30
UAB employees who meet a certain salary threshold, or whose job includes management of state funds in certain capacities, are required to complete an annual Statement of Economic Interests form.
