STORY:

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) will host the 2004 International Bazaar in February. More than 30 nations will be represented. The event is free and open to the public.

WHAT:

With UAB’s international students, scholars and others on hand, children and adults can learn interesting facts about each country and enjoy live entertainment, arts and crafts, music and more. Organizers will have many items for sale.

WHY:

The annual event is designed to promote international awareness and cultural understanding.

WHO:

UAB Interculture and the International Students and Scholars Association are sponsors for the event.
