WHAT:

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) English Club, Vade Mecum, will present its Wordstock Spring Festival in April. The outdoor festival will feature dramatic presentations, poetry readings, live music and more by UAB students and faculty. The event is free and open to the public. WHY:

Wordstock was established to introduce students and the general public to the UAB School of Arts and Humanities, its faculty and the various disciplines offered within the School. The School of Arts and Humanities offers degrees in art and art history, English, African-American studies, communication studies, foreign languages, philosophy, music and theatre.

Vade Mecum, the English Club, is open to all students interested in the literary arts, creative writing and linguistics.
