“A Colloquium on Alzheimer’s Disease: The Intersection of Alzheimer’s Disease and the Arts,” will feature “Reflections of the Mind’s Eye,” a talk by Dr. Andrew Duxbury with UAB’s Center for Aging, and “The Subject Tonight Is Love,” a theatrical performance about a family faced with Alzheimer’s and struggling to reconnect. The event is sponsored by UAB’s School of Public Health, the Birmingham Festival Theatre, the UAB Center for Aging, Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama, the UAB Alzheimer's Disease Center and St. Mary’s on the Highlands Episcopal Church.
