BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The incomparable Diana Krall is the featured artist for the Viva Health Starlight Gala benefiting the Alys Stephens Center  Saturday, April 5, 2008.

The Viva Health Starlight Gala is the Alys Stephens Center’s annual fundraiser. It’s an elegant evening of exceptional music, great food, drinks and celebration. Proceeds support future programming and arts education for the center.

Sensational Grammy Award-winning songstress and pianist Krall has transcended musical genres with her cool, heavy-lidded vocals, impeccable timing and sensational piano-playing. A popular artist with a permanent position at the top of the jazz charts, Krall won a Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal and became the first jazz artist in 25 years to be nominated for Album of the Year for “When I Look in Your Eyes.”
