The University of Alabama Board of Trustees has approved the establishment of the Clayton V. Reuse/Birmingham Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Endowed Scholarship fund at UAB. Through the gifts of friends, family and colleagues of the late Clayton V. Reuse and the Birmingham Chapter of ASHRAE, the fund will assist deserving students enrolled in the Mechanical or Electrical Engineering programs in the UAB School of Engineering. The endowment will provide one scholarship per year.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The University of Alabama Board of Trustees has approved the establishment of the Clayton V. Reuse founded Alabama Controls Inc., of Pelham, which specializes in industrial HVAC automation and control systems. Alabama Controls has completed more than 175 projects for UAB, including the installation of the first fully automated HVAC building control system on the UAB campus at Bartow Arena.
