The Comprehensive Cardiovascular Center will host its seventh annual symposium, titled “Focus on Heart Failure,” Sept. 6-7 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Birmingham.
The objective of the symposium is to identify new therapies and intervention in the treatment of heart failure, discuss risk factors and prevention, and highlight recent advances in the diagnosis, treatment and management of ischemic heart disease.
The keynote speaker at the symposium will be Thomas J. Wang, M.D. Wang is the director of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and a professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
