Miss UAB to host Walk Against Obesity on May 10

All proceeds from the Walk Against Obesity will benefit Children’s of Alabama; registration is $20, and the first 50 people will receive a T-shirt.

Miss University of Alabama at Birmingham 2014 Chassidy Sumler will host a Walk Against Obesity on May 10 at the UAB Campus Green, on University Boulevard between 14th and 16th streets south.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. The registration fee is $20. The event will begin at 9 a.m. The first 50 people will receive a free T-shirt. All event proceeds will benefit Children’s of Alabama.
