Award-winning author Richard Ford will give a free reading and sign books at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at the Hill University Center Alumni Auditorium, 1400 University Blvd.
Ford, a native of Jackson, Miss., has published seven novels and four collections of stories, including “The Sportswriter,” “A Multitude of Sins,” “Canada” and “Independence Day,” which was awarded a Pulitzer Prize and a PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction – the first time a book has been awarded both.
Ford teaches creative writing at the University of Mississippi.
