The University of Alabama at Birmingham has initiated a national search for a new senior vice president for Finance and Administration.
In July 2020, Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration Allen Bolton announced his retirement, effective Jan. 1, 2021. Bolton is a graduate of UAB and worked for the institution for more than 25 years during multiple engagements.
The senior vice president for Finance and Administration reports to the president of the university and is responsible for day-to-day operations related to finance, business affairs, human resources, facilities, public safety and strategic budgeting.
The search will be chaired by Pam Benoit, Ph.D., senior vice president for Academic Affairs and provost. Additional members of the search committee include:

The committee has engaged global search firm Korn Ferry to assist in the recruitment for this position.
