Registration is now open for the Southeast Regional Society for Developmental Biology Meeting, set for May 15-17 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Keynote speakers for the event include Cecilia Lo, chair of Department and Developmental Biology at the University of Pittsburgh, and Philip Benfey, professor of developmental biology at Duke University.
John Parant, Ph.D., assistant professor of pharmacology and toxicology in UAB’s School of Medicine, also is scheduled to speak. A complete list of speakers can be found online here.
Session topics include differentiation and cell fate, morphogenesis and organogenesis, evolution and development, development in cancer and disease, cell-cell communication and signaling, stem and progenitor cell biology, and more.
The priority registration deadline is May 1.
