University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Collat School of Business will offer a variety of online, short-term Project Management Certificate courses to provide students with a professional and practical problem-solving education during the 2021 summer semester.
TheUAB is a Project Management Institute Authorized Training Partner, where PMI-developed, content-filled courses are taught on Zoom by individuals who have been trained in the Project Management Institute Body of Knowledge and are highly qualified PMI-vetted instructors.
Lisa Cantavespre, MBA, who recently completed one of the courses, says they prepared her for today’s competitive working environment.
“I really enjoyed the class,” Cantavespre said. “The instructors are great; they move at a fast pace and cover a lot of ground in a short time. They apply real-world examples to the material being covered. Students will learn from PMI-trained seasoned instructors, enjoy networking with a cohort of like-minded professionals, and prepare to earn industry certifications like the CAPM and PMP.”
While some professional courses require an application fee and admission process, there are none for these courses.
The registration deadline for the summer courses is Friday, May 28.
