Deidra Suwanee Dees, Ed.D., tribal archivist for the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, will join a panel discussion on Native History in American Art in conjunction with the exhibition, Focus IV: Eclipse of the Hudson River School, Selections from the Koleszar Collection on March 9.
The reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the panel discussion following at 6 p.m. in the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts, 1221 10th Ave. S.
