Collawn, Sherry, M.D., Ph.D.
Sherry S. Collawn, M.D., joined the faculty of the UAB Department of Surgery in 2008. She also conducts a private practice with Mountain Brook Plastic Surgery. Her clinical activities include laser procedures, skin tightening, resurfacing, fat grafting, transplantation, and liposuction. She is a board-certified member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

de la Torre, Jorge, M.D., MSHA
Jorge I. de la Torre, M.D., FACS, MSHA, is Professor of Surgery and Rehabilitative Medicine and is the Director of the Division of Plastic Surgery. He has been invited to give presentations both nationally and internationally. Dr. de la Torre has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in plastic surgery, ranging from aesthetic surgery to complex wound reconstruction.

Fix, R. Jobe, M.D.
R. Jobe Fix, M.D., FACS, serves as a Professor in UAB Surgery’s Division of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Fix maintains a busy clinical practice at The Kirklin Clinic, VA Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Alabama, UAB Hospital, and Mountain Brook Plastic Surgery. He performs all types of plastic surgery with a focus on breast reconstruction and hand surgery. Dr. Fix has consistently been listed in “America’s Top Doctors” in addition to “The Best Doctors in America” and numerous other awards.
