The Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery’s Reema Mallick, M.D., was recently named the winner of the Advocacy and Issues Committee of the Resident and Associate Society of the American College of Surgeons Symposium essay contest.
Each year, the committee hosts a symposium at the Clinical Congress that features a debate on a current and controversial issue relevant to surgeons in training and in practice. This year’s symposium’s theme is “Physician Extenders in Academic Surgery: Integrated Partner or Parallel Player?”
