The UAB Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship is excited to welcome Aimal Khan, M.D., as its newest fellow for the 2018-2019 academic year. Khan will join the program August 1, 2018, from the Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

“I am extremely excited and honored to have matched for MIS fellowship at a surgical powerhouse like UAB,” Khan said. “I believe that the outstanding MIS faculty at UAB will not only provide me with the right tools to help my patients, but also help me in achieving my goal of becoming an academic surgeon.
