Brenessa Lindeman, M.D., MEHP, FACS, will open the panel “Future Forward Focus” for the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC) Group on Resident Affairs (GRA) and Organization of Resident Representatives (ORR) joint spring meeting.

The panel will address present-day challenges in medical education with a focus on mission, implementation and innovation. Lindeman will be joined by President and CEO of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Thomas Nasca, M.D., MACP and President and CEO of the AAMC David Skorton, M.D.

Lindeman is looking forward to representing the UAB Department of Surgery at the joint spring meeting

“I’m delighted to join the President/CEO of both the AAMC and ACGME in the opening plenary panel for the AAMC GRA/ORR spring meeting,” said Lindeman. “It will be a great opportunity to discuss new and ongoing challenges in graduate medical education programs as well as potential solutions we are spearheading here at UAB, with an ultimate goal of improving the learning environment.”
